This infographic shows the role of the arrector pili muscle in the mechanics of hair movement. As the muscle contracts, it pulls on the base of the follicle, causing the hair to stand upright and the surrounding skin to bunch.
Some vignettes from a large, overview of injuries presentation. The injuries shown here include a dislocated clavicle, herniated disc, and fractured wrist. Other vignettes showcased a brain bleed, fractured ankle, and more herniated discs. (it was a lot of images to sift through!)
