This design was created and submitted for consideration as the AJC Peachtree Road Race 2018 logo. The design was inspired by 80’s-styled movie posters. A silhouette of the city is back-lit by a setting sun (in the shape of a peach). The typeface and colors follow the reference design-pattern. This style was chosen for it’s relaxed vibe and fun color palette.

This sketch was commissioned to be part of a product design presentation. The new product will work in conjunction with the Apple TV device. This sketch shows the Apple TV device in an interesting perspective, with ‘blueprint-like’ lines and measurements surrounding it, to reinforce the idea that this is part of a bigger, conceptual project. The original image was scaled to fit a widescreen Microsoft Powerpoint slide.

This image generalizes the electrochemical steps involved in memory depotentiation at the synapse between neurons. A stimulus activates NMDAR, which then permit calcium entry into the cell. As the cell depolarizes, VGCC activates and allows more calcium to flow into the cell. This intracellular calcium-oscillation mobilizes proteins that will eventually cause the cell to degrade the AMPA receptors by means of endocytosis. * This is a variation of an image I created for the article “Harnessing Electroceuticals to Treat Disorders Arising from Traumatic Stress: Theoretical Considerations Using a Psychosensory Model” in “Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing” .
